Introducing the Gitzo Légende (GK 1545T-RTI) Traveler kit, comprised of the special edition Series 1 4-section Traveler tripod with specially-designed matte silver aluminum Center Ball Head and the camera backpack (GCB LG-BP), this kit is built for discerning, globe trotting photographers who like to travel light. Recommended for use with 135mm - 200mm lenses.
Our Series 1 Traveler carbon fiber tripod is ultra-compact, with legs constructed from Carbon eXact tubing for superior strength and rigidity in a slim silhouette with aluminum rock rings artfully crafted for this model. 4-section support with a 180° folding system pioneered by Gitzo that enables legs to reverse-fold around the center column and head, allowing it to collapse down to 43 cm. Spread leg angles and insert short center column to get down for low-angle or macro shots. Compact rubber feet that can be easily replaced if needed. Eco-leather syntetic shoulder strap ensures comfortable carry.
The Center Ball Head is a new slim head in the Gitzo professional range, constructed of high-quality, high-resistance steel and aluminum components. Perfectly balanced, versatile and engineered with friction-control knob to ensure uncompromising smoothness and precision of movement. Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release plate works perfectly with Gitzo D profile plates as well as most Arca-Swiss style plates from other brands. Plate locks with screw knob and is equipped with bubble-level to help photographers keep a straight horizon.
The new Gitzo Légende camera backpack (GCB LG-BP) is the perfect carrying solution for those seeking elegance and functionality in a timeless design. Created to easily accommodate full-frame mirrorless cameras like Sony Alpha 9 with 70-200 mm f/4 lens attached plus 2 additional lenses, the camera compartment is equipped with soft brush fabric and highly adaptable dividers to organize and protect gear.
Single side access allows you to easily slide the bag to your chest to reach gear without touching the ground. Thoughtfully crafted storage compartments offer unparalleled security, versatility and organization. The side tripod pocket is expandable and made to carry a Gitzo Légende tripod (GK1545T-RTI) plus roll-top pocket for personal items . In addition there is a second side roll-top water bottle pocket. The top compartment is ideal for personal belongings with multiple internal pockets to keep items in place and easy to find. A dedicated padded laptop compartment holds up to 15-inch MacBook Pro-sized device plus additional tablet pocket. SecureLock zippers with lockable pulls and RFID-protected side pocket ensure belongings always stay safe.
Built to last, we’ve designed the Légende sustainably using cruelty-free, environmental-friendly and non-toxic synthetic leather and the main external fabric is 100% recycled polyester.
